Growing up in Peshawar, Pakistan in the shadow of his fathers' architecture/construction company, Ameer's attraction to real estate was inevitable. He remembers spending hours poring over floorplans in interior design magazines as a kid & designing elaborate homes in The Sims.

After getting a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of London, he moved to Washington in 2015. After working for a few years in the hospitality industry (Martins Tavern, Rasika, Slate Wine Bar), as well as working at an education nonprofit, he made the move into real estate, and hasn’t looked back! Clients love his genial nature, affinity for numbers and data, keen negotiation skills, and international flair. Ameer is particularly adept at working with first-time buyers. His business acumen and market knowledge have resulted in a loyal set of referral-based clients.

Ameer is proud to be a part of the Jonathan Taylor Group, one of the top teams in the region! He loves the constantly evolving nature of the business, the diverse makeup of his days, and helping the team revolutionize client expectations and service through marketing & operational support.

He currently lives in the Wesley Heights neighborhood of Northwest DC. In his free time, he enjoys taking a workout class, cooking, or finding a live music venue. He also teaches Vinyasa yoga at Corepower yoga, something that “keeps him sane and grounded.”
